Start on Wi-Fi so the first playlist download does not use your mobile allowance. This guide covers player setup; you do not need to install a configuration profile or share your Apple Account password with support.
Before you start
- An iPhone or iPad with an internet connection
- Access to the App Store
- Your GOTVMIX setup message
Find the correct App Store listing
Open the App Store and search for the exact player name recommended for iOS. Check the developer name before selecting Get or the displayed price. Approve the download using your own device.
Select the login format
Open the player. Choose the server-account option for a server URL, username and password, or the playlist option for a complete M3U link. Do not paste a whole playlist link into the username field.
Paste carefully
Copy each value from your setup message and check for spaces at either end. If the app asks for permission to paste, allow it for this action. Save the profile and wait for the playlist to finish loading.
Test on Wi-Fi
Play a few items while the app stays open. Before using mobile data, check your allowance and whether mobile access is enabled for the player. Casting and AirPlay support depend on the specific player and receiver.

Background playback depends on the app and its settings. Test with the app in the foreground, then check the player’s own help for background-video support.
Does this include AirPlay?
AirPlay is a player and device feature. Confirm support in your app before relying on it as your main way to watch on a TV.
