A Samsung Smart TV uses its own app store. An Android installation file will not work on Tizen. Begin by checking the player recommended for your TV model, then connect your subscription inside that player.
Before you start
- Your Samsung TV model number
- Internet access and a Samsung account if prompted
- Your GOTVMIX setup message
Open the TV’s Apps section
Press Home on the remote and open Apps. Use the search icon to look up the exact player name. On newer menus, the route to Apps may be inside the home sidebar.
Check the listing and install
Check that the publisher matches the player you were advised to use, then choose Install. Availability varies by TV model and region. If the listing does not appear, send the model number to GOTVMIX before paying for another app.
Connect the subscription
Follow the login type your player offers. Some players accept a server, username and password directly; others display a device identifier and key for playlist management. Use only the management address shown by the genuine player. A player licence and your TV subscription may be separate purchases.
Refresh the playlist
Save the details, return to the TV app and use Reload, Refresh or restart the app. Allow the first load to complete, then try a live channel and an on-demand item separately.
Common questions
Can I install an APK on my Samsung TV?
Tizen does not install Android APK files. Use a compatible app in Samsung Apps, or ask about a separate streaming device.
The app opens but asks me to activate it.
That may be the player’s own licence screen. Check whether the requested payment is for the player or the GOTVMIX subscription before proceeding.
